David Stremme Looks Ahead to Snowball Derby
Looks to Add Derby Trophy Alongside His WInchester 400 Crown
Mooresville, NC. :  David Stremme made the decision to concentrate on competing in this year’s Snowball Derby instead of defending his title at the 2009 Winchester 400.

“I always had a goal of winning the Winchester 400 which finally came to fruition last year, now it’s time for me to look at the next race on my list, The Snowball Derby. “

Stremme also commented “it’s not that I’m never going back to Winchester, the track and fans are awesome and the competition is pretty mean, awesome short track racing, but I’ve won there. The Snowball Derby is up next, I still need sponsorship because it’s such an expensive race to run, but some of the nation’s best short track talent will be there and I’m setting my goals on winning that race.”

When asked about returning to Winchester next year, Stremme said “I hear Kyle and Reutimann are running there this year and nothing would make a return to Winchester better than running against those two and showing them how it’s done. Until they have the trophy, I still have bragging rights.”
